This film is an interesting, exactly for people who love music very much. This story begins from bad decision that Vesuvius made to drop out Fish as their drummer. Fish try to come up and forget that accident by joining his nephew’s band, but he can’t. He is really disappointed. He can’t walk on his day with that.
20 years after the accident, Fish still have grudge against his old band. Know he lives at his sisters house Lisa. There he also meets with his brother-in-law Stan, his nephew Matt, and his niece Violet. Matt has a problem with his band, they have lost their drummer, so now they don’t have a drummer. Matt’s band called ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). The band consists of Matt, Curtis, and Amelia. ADD’s drummer has a problem, so Fish become the drummer of ADD. Fish try hard to get a gig for ADD, but the result is bad. Fish drops out from his sister’s house, so he can’t practice with ADD. One day a funny accident happens. They practice using webcam, Fish is naked when they do that. And then their video is uploaded in internet, and so many viewers click that video to see that. From that moment they become famous band.
They have a tour in several countries with Matchbox Record behind them. They do great job. One day ADD invited becomes the opening act of Vesuvius, the band that was dropping out Fish as their drummer long time ago. Problem happen, Curtis can’t avoid this gold chance. Then Fish drop out from ADD and Paul substitute Fish as the drummer. The band is not matches enough without Fish, they couldn’t do their best. Then someday, Curtis goes to Fish office. They are mostly like a father and son, and they have talk. Curtis try to make Fish forget his old memories, and throw away his grudge to Vesuvius. After that Fish come again to ADD with new look, new spirit, and new conviction.
They become the opening act of Vesuvius concert. Every people enjoy ADD’s music. When the Vesuvius step forward, an unexpected accident occurs. The vocalist drop his microphone, and every people now that their concert is lip sing. The live concert is skips. Vesuvius failed to entertain their fans, they are disappointed. All the audience calls ADD, and after that ADD go on stage and perform to a crowd of screaming fans and the movie ends with them jumping in a still shot.
From this movie we can learn that don’t be vengeful of people because it could hurt your self, just let the past go away from your mind and reach your future perfectly. If you just feel and let the bad old memory frightens your self, you will become a poor man. This is because we can’t walk on our future with that worst thing. Open a new world with your new spirit an soul, don’t look back to the bad think, just focus on the next thing that we will do.
